Angeline Guo

11 years building high-performing teams, scalable products, and data-driven strategies. From Wall Street to Silicon Valley.

Angeline Guo

I build high-performing teams, define strategy, and turn ambiguous problems into scalable solutions.

My career spans operational risk at American Express, product analytics for virtual reality at Meta, founding an AI startup, and leading B2B strategy at DoorDash.

I'd rather be honest than impressive. Authenticity, transparency, and fairness guide how I give feedback, make decisions, and decide what to build.

Core Principles

Curiosity as Engine
I dive into complex data ecosystems and emerging technologies because the puzzle itself is the reward.
Organic Connection
Wherever I land, I build community. Not as a networking strategy, but because it's a natural response to a new environment. I believe the best spaces make genuine connection feel effortless.
Compassion through Action
Technology reaches its highest utility when it serves real human needs. My work is anchored in a deep respect for well-being: the need to connect, to stay healthy, and to grow.
The Data Engine
Data Science Leadership & Analytics
I translate complex data environments into clear, actionable strategy. From managing NLP innovation for global operational risk at American Express, to driving privacy-first data initiatives at Meta, to leading 0-to-1 B2B product to help small businesses grow at DoorDash, I build systems that prioritize structural health, analytical rigor, and human impact.
The Founder's Fire
Generative AI & Venture Execution
I know what it takes to bring an idea from zero to one under intense pressure. As the founder and CEO of Zeni Arts, I raised venture capital and led a team of eight to build a production-level RAG and LLM companion application. Designed to combat loneliness in socially isolated older adults using virtual companionship and CBT frameworks, the project partnered directly with Canadian businesses and government entities. I understand the weight, the architecture, and the resilience required to build modern AI products.
The Community Architect
Human Infrastructure
People are the core of any ecosystem. During COVID, I founded and scaled the largest Chinese tech worker community in Vancouver, growing it organically to over 500 members. By hosting multiple weekly events, we created a self-sustaining network where lasting relationships and families were built. I bring this same instinct for culture, trust, and openness into every professional team I lead.
SF Bay SUP Spots
Every paddleboard launch spot in the SF Bay Area, mapped and filterable. Built because "best SUP spots near me" always returns the same three tourist beaches.
Maps API Next.js Geolocation
PRD to Readout
Turns a product spec into a gated analytics pipeline, ending in a SHIP/KILL/ITERATE readout with real stats behind the call.
Python LLM Agent Analytics
Spend Tracking App
Connects to your bank via Plaid and sends an AI nudge when spending goes off track. Built it because spreadsheets require too much good faith.
Plaid API AI Agent LLM
RevMem
A governance layer that lets finance AI agents earn trust over time. It reconciles contract pricing against CRM data, learns from human feedback across sessions, and gains autonomy as its track record improves.
AI Agents Governance FastAPI
Career Coach
Helping professionals navigate transitions, job searches, and growth into leadership. Same frameworks I use in data: clarity, structure, and honest feedback. 20+ people mentored across data, product, and leadership.
Paddleboard Coach
Certified paddleboard coach. Teaching people to find their balance, literally. Turns out what you learn on the water follows you everywhere.
Interior Designer
Trained eye for space, proportion, and how environments shape how we think and feel. Studied part-time at Parsons School of Design. A different kind of systems thinking, one that starts with a floor plan.
